Roohi Vora

Roohi Vora teaches English Composition and Literature courses at San Jose State University and at Evergreen Valley College. She has received the Lecturer of the Year Award, and has been recognized as Distinguished Faculty in 2010. Roohi's poetry and short stories have appeared in Leaf by Leaf, a college literary magazine, and she has presented papers on global education and Shakespeare at several conferences. Her article, "The Magic of Mehendi: The Henna Painting Ceremony" was published a textbook: Projections, Brief Readings on American Culture. Roohi is passionate about teaching, and outside of her work, she enjoys reading, writing, and jogging. |
